Insider Trading as an Indicator of WIND's Future Pricing

If insider trading on the stock market is any indication, and it usually is, WIND will be TOUGH competition for the existing incumbents of Rogers, Bell and Telus. Let's face it, although what's been posted in terms of pricing so far has only been rumours, some people out there know the actual prices, leaked it to someone that trades stocks, and made some smart "investments" based on that insider info. That momentum is often a good sign of what is to come.

Rogers, in three trading days has lost 11% of its capital value, or nearly TWO BILLION DOLLARS. Today they lost 3%, on a day that the stock market went up 1%.

Bell, in three trading days, has lost 7%, or nearly ONE POINT FIVE BILLION DOLLARS in market value.

Telus, in three trading days, has lost almost 6%, or SIX HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in market value.

Over these three trading days, the TSX as a whole went UP 1.5%.

The threat of the imminent launch of WIND has already cost the incumbent telecoms nearly four billion dollars. Wow. Clearly some smart financial people KNOW that WIND will do some damage to these incumbents.

Don't forget, plenty of the risk/loss due to WIND's launch has already been priced into these telecoms' stocks, so they're merely losing even more market value now.
