Interesting Post from Rogers Employee on the Rogers Talkspot Service:

Submitted by Voip-Cell-Admin on Tue, 10/14/2008 - 04:03

Someone over at Howardforums seems to be a Rogers employee and has offered some information on the service. Keep in mind this post is from February/08, so a bit old, but lots of relevant information on the TAlkspot service. In fact, it was called "Home Calling Zone" back then. I definitely think that "Talkspot" is a better name Cool

Here are some snippets:

On GSM, LD is billed based on where you are. On HCZ, LD is billed based on your area code.
911 differs and will require express consent and info from customers.
Are there limitations to the generic or voice optimized routers?
Yes. Only 5 sessions can go on at the same time.
Example: 3 phones, 1 Xbox and 1 laptop can access a router at the same time.

The post is over at HoFo here.
